Many people have asked me, especially when they do not know who I am or that I practice divination, if "readings" really work.  The response I give is one that tries to explain to them the cosmic nature of the universe, that readings are spiritual sessions where answers to questions and new pathways are explored. 

A perfect Reading, to me, is one where divine inspiration happens. There is a detailed science to all forms of Readings and Divinations, and many years must be spent in mastering that art, however, that is but part of it.  A spiritual counselor must know more than the nuts and bolts of the science of their chosen form of divination.  They must connect with divinity and channel the energies of the cosmos into the reading.  Then, and only then, is the Reading at its most powerful and of the most importance and impact to and for the Client. 

Many people try to begin a career in "Fortune Telling" as a way to make money.  Money is not the factor in these types of situations.  Money is but a form of energy exchange.  All things in nature must have an exchange of energy.  But, to do this strictly as a way to make a profit is turning your back on the Spirituality and the Gift that you can share with others by introducing them to

the  information and cosmic knowledge and you are fortunate enough to able to channel and impart.  The term Fortune Telling also demeans the science and spiritual aspects of this art which is the core of the Universal Mind.  What Salem does is Counseling and helping the Client to see all paths available to them as well and the one they are currently traveling and those that are most likely to be traveled.

My suggestion to anyone who is seeking a psychic, spiritual counselor, or clergy is to visit with that person and see if there is a connection.  In the end, if you are not comfortable with the person who is trying to help you, well, you aren't going to be getting the most out of the information that they are relaying to you.
